(Cross posted to Azores, Madeira, IslandRoutes) This coupon code thing is working somewhat differently this year (and they got rid of that dancing box that drove some of us with multiple kits crazy).
1) Log into your DNA page (or for a kit you manage). 2) Click on the Holiday Reward button. 3) Decide if you want the coupon or not. If not..... 4) Scroll about halfway down to the GREEN "Share Now" button. 5) Share it with gfsche...@gmail.com COPY AND PASTING THE CODE INTO AN EMAIL TO ME WILL NOT WORK!!! They are tracking the coupons this year and they KNOW it will come from your kit. Once that code is used you will get a "better" coupon next time. "Better" is relative, of course. If you are on the hunt for more Family Finder coupons, you don't care that you get a $20 off of a Y, then a $40 off of Y67, then a $60 off of Y111. You want Family Finder. So what is "better?" If you need a Y67 coupon, then $60 is better than $20. Not if you want mtDNA or Fam.Finder. At any rate, someone is going to HAVE TO use your coupon code in order to get a "different" coupon. Will forwarding it to me and having me as a clearing house and forwarding it to a 3rd party work? I don't know. If not, I'm going to have to keep a spread sheet of who wants what and where it's coming from. I already have a request for 2 Fam.Finder coupons and one for mtDNA. So, for now, "Share" the coupon with me until we figure out how this really works.
