Thank you for your quick response to my question. I purchased the kit before I
joined the group. I was told that a Male family member would give me better
results, thus my brother. I will have to take the test now since I'm the last
living member of my family. I'm confused about which test to order and I see
there is a sale. If you could help me select the right test I'd be most happy
to do it. I read the post everyday execpt for the 21/2 months I was in Hawaii
taking care of my brothers affairs. I learn something new everyday thanks to

That came up at the administrator conference this weekend.
Other sources of DNA - hair, teeth, envelopes, stamps....they are technically
possible to extract DNA, however the success rate if so low that FTDNA won't do
it. They've tried in the past (years and years ago). They just created
disappointment :(
Why did you want to test your brother with Ancestry? Why not you or other
siblings?
