If any of the Sao Miguel born children (Maria 12, Antonio 10, Maria 8,
Maria 1) were eventually married in the Catholic Church in the USA? *The
location-the village *and confirmation of their Baptism (s) should have
been recorded in the (boiler plate) marriage record book by the Priest.
Priest were to confirm by letter that the bride & groom had indeed-been
baptisied. That's how I discovered my family's (long lost) village on Sao
Miguel island.
