For those that don't know, the DAR is the Daughters of the American Revolution. Every January, the DAR in Seaside, California, holds a genealogy day with classes. They call this event the Round Up. They have speakers on various topics. Rosemarie does Portuguese. Barbara Rae Venter does DNA (there may be others). Also, there are a host of other topics to choose from too (in case you have a friend or relation who isn't interested in Portuguese).
