Well I might have a problem….
If I’m reading this correctly have a baptism record for Francisca, daughter of
Manuel Cardoso and Isabel da Conceicao of Altares , born 2/1/1828. Francisca’s
godparents are Jose Cardoso, son of Francisco Cardoso, and his mother Francisca
Rosa

Here’s the parent’s marriage.

Now here is the problem…I have the marriage of Francisco Cardoso, widow of
Francisca Rosa, marrying Maria Rosa, daughter of Joao Goncalves Coelho and Rosa
Joaquina in 1823.

This means that Francisca Rosa, Francisco first wife, passed away before this
2nd marriage and thus she could not be alive in 1828 for the baptism of her
granddaughter. Right?

I know this is asking a lot (to read 3 records and check to see if I read
something wrong) but I need help straighten out the mess I created in my
database. Thank you for your assistance. Doreen Caetano
