Hello Elias (and hello again backstage!) Episode xml doesn't really give much in the way of availability windows
If you look in the episode xml you'll see a versions element like: <versions> <version canonical="1"> <pid>b01rryyq</pid> <duration>2700</duration> <types> <type>Original version</type> </types> </version> <version canonical="0"> <pid>p0172ztm</pid> <duration>2700</duration> <types> <type>Dubbed Audio Described</type> </types> </version> </versions> Each of the versions carries separate ondemand availability so http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01rryyq.xml Has an availability element with availabilities listed like <availability> <start>2013-03-30T19:00:00Z</start> <end>2013-04-06T19:59:00+01:00</end> <media_items> <media_item> <pid>p0172c5d</pid> <service id="mvod_streaming_virgin_hd"/> <start_of_media_availability>2013-03-30T12:09:42Z</start_of_media_availability> </media_item> </media_items> </availability> Hth michael On 04/04/2013 15:19, "Elias Häggkvist" <elias.haggkv...@gmail.com<mailto:elias.haggkv...@gmail.com>> wrote: I have problems finding out if content is expired. Comparing the two xml's below I have not been able to identify any parameter that tells that the later is expired and no longer available ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01rryzz.xml http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p011gpsb.xml Any suggestions on how to find out if a programe-ID is expired would be appreciated.
