I am wondering if there is a way to "regenerate" the data that exists in a file named "backups". It is located in /data/pc/username/. There appears to be an accompanying file named "backups.old". I don't know what happened but my backuppc machine shut down unexpectedly over the weekend and when I looked into getting it running I found that some users had the files mentioned above missing (either one of them or both). As far as I can tell all of the numbered backups still exist in the users directory. Is there a way to retreive the old backup info? Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me.
