Your solution coult maybe to use
BackupPC_archiveHost to create and archive, the -1 in the command is to
say your want the last dump
su backuppc "/usr/share/backuppc/bin/BackupPC_archiveHost
/usr/share/backuppc/bin/BackupPC_tarCreate /usr/bin/split /usr/bin/par2
youppc -1 /bin/gzip .gz 0000000 /pathtostore 0 '*'"
