You mean backuppc 3.0 or debian sarge ;-)?
I upgrade it with BackupPC-3.0.0.tar.gz from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=34854&package_id=27278
With Aptitude I only get version backuppc 2.1.1-2sar
I tried to remove backuppc and reinstall it. But I get message: This
> module is already enabled!
I think apt "said" this because backuppc was still running when you
installed the new package?

Try: /etc/init.d/backuppc stop
Then start aptitude and *purge* your old backuppc-package (don't forget
to make a backup of /etc/backuppc). Reinstall the new package with
apt-get install (-f? debian might complain about broken dependencies)
and you should be fine.
Purging did help.

With backuppc I want to backup Windows XP PCs (10+) throurgh samba using
Debian Sarge as Server.
Configuring backuppc I a little harder than I expected :) Not like drag and
drop :)
