Hello and thanks for a nice program. I like the design of backuppc there
fore I decided to try it out.

Backups aren't any good unless it's possible to extract data from it some
late night when everything goes bad. I have no problem to restore from the
user interface. But how do I do if I just have the hard drive (I use an own
hd for my topdir) and put it into a other pc?

I'm new to linux so I really would like to what to write in the terminal.
Whit no compression It's simple I'll just use the file browser... but when
I'll use compression the file is in some kind of binary format. (bz2, gz
tar.gz, or ????) an example would be so nice! I have search the
documentation but i couldn't find it the. I have search on the net after an
example with no success..) I'll think It would be great if it was possible
to find this information i the documentation.

Whit out this info It's feels scary to me to use it.

Best Regards and thanks in advance!
/Johan
