Network is standard Windows 2003 based. I think it is DHCP with DDNS. When I
ping it by hostname only, I get response in hostname.ADdomain.company.com. Or
is this DHCP with DDNS? How can I verify this?

I just specify the computer hostname in the web page of backuppc.
