An entire server? I see from their documentation "It is likely that linux/unix backups done using tar (rather than smb) can be used to reconstruct a complete file system, although I haven't tried it."
I'm just wondering if anybody does this in practice, or if you just have a generic server build image on hand and have to install that first and then restore to it in the case of catastrophic disaster. Sorry if this is a basic question, I just come from a Netbackup background so things are a bit different with BackupPC :D +---------------------------------------------------------------------- |This was sent by [email protected] via Backup Central. |Forward SPAM to [email protected]. +---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Meet PCI DSS 3.0 Compliance Requirements with EventLog Analyzer Achieve PCI DSS 3.0 Compliant Status with Out-of-the-box PCI DSS Reports Are you Audit-Ready for PCI DSS 3.0 Compliance?
