As earlier posters pointed out, incorrect excludes could mean > you are trying to backup potentially very large files.
Is possible to show, somewhere, when a file is not transferred because already exists in the pool? rsyncd.log on source server doesn't show files not being transferred (only logs transferred files) thus looking at that log, bpc seems to be frozen. I'm sure that is not frozen by stracing the process and seeing some lstat/open calls. Would be usefull to have a sort of "rsyncd.log" on backuppc size showing if a file is transferred or not and why is not transferred. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ BackupPC-users mailing list BackupPC-users@lists.sourceforge.net List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-users Wiki: http://backuppc.wiki.sourceforge.net Project: http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/
