definetly NOT a OOM issue- I would have noticed this. Any other backup
job running in parallel are just finishing fine.
After 24h uptime:
MiB Spch: 11967,8 total, 184,3 free, 700,8 used, 11397,8 buff/cache
MiB Swap: 2048,0 total, 2047,7 free, 0,3 used. 11267,0 avail Spch

Even on my Mac I can see the matching processes:

Doing a tcpdump on my Mac shows there is no traffic in between:
% sudo tcpdump host backuppc
tcpdump: data link type PKTAP
tcpdump: verbose output suppressed, use -v[v]... for full protocol
decode
listening on pktap, link-type PKTAP (Apple DLT_PKTAP), snapshot length
524288 bytes
No packets captured.
So I am wondering why there is no timeout happening. The command line of
rsync seems to have such a parameter.
I can manually stop the currently running backup and start it again
manually- which will run fine.
Anyone having an idea what it wrong here and how I can fix it?
