Hello Thomas, OK, it is now done. The German manual builds without any visible errors -- I haven't looked at any of the output files though. Converting the German manual was much easier than the French manual, because you have updated all the files that you have translated to correspond to a recent version of the manual ... thanks.
You might want to save a copy of your old German directory, though it is committed to the Branch-2.2 document, then checkout a whole new document tree. That will ensure that you get something clean. As you will see the manual-de is now gone. The README in the main directory is a good first cut at explaining what it going on ... Let me know if you have any problems -- I wouldn't be surprised if something shows up. The next step will be an attempt to make the whole set of documents look a bit more coherent -- the one that is really bad is the Bacula Concepts and Overview Guide ... By the way, if you want to change the title of a manual from English to German, you will need to change it in the main manual page, which is the name of the directory.tex (i.e. manuals/de/concepts/concepts.tex always has the main page for that manual), then you will need to make a corresponding change in the Makefile.in file in each manual, which is slightly tricky. Later today, I will add documentation to the README on how to do it. Finally, you need to re-run the ./configure ... to update the Makefile.
