The runtime on batteries is relatively unimportant. What counts is: 1. With a UPS, you won't have power spikes that can zap your CPU/memory. 2. With a UPS and software such as apcupsd, you can do an orderly shutdown of your computer and your disks will be properly synced. > How bacula will handle server(Director, SD or FD) shutdown?
