i got quick question about it - can someone tell how to properly query
mysql directly about next volume?
mysql> SELECT
MediaId,VolumeName,VolJobs,VolFiles,VolBlocks,VolBytes,VolMounts,VolErrors,VolWrites,MaxVolBytes,VolCapacityBytes,VolRetention,VolUseDuration,MaxVolJobs,MaxVolFiles,Recycle,Slot,FirstWritten,LastWritten,VolStatus,InChanger,VolParts,LabelType
FROM Media WHERE PoolId=2 AND MediaType='LTO' AND Enabled=1 AND
VolStatus='Append' LIMIT 1;
result of this statement is not always the same as from bconsole - quite
often but not always
i would like to use is to create list of needed tapes for my hosts and
for kinda stats as well do not want to use bconsole really
