I dont know about Debian, but at least on Gentoo this has changed since that HOWTO was written. For Gentoo, the database setup scripts are now in /usr/libexec/bacula instead of /etc/bacula. On Debian it may be /var/lib/bacula but again I don't know this for certain. > >So I can't run the create, make and grant scripts because they >don't exists. Any explanation for that? I install Bacula as follow: > > apt-get install bacula bacula-doc bacula-traymonitor > The following packages will be installed on your system: > bacula bacula-client bacula-common bacula-console >bacula-director-common bacula-director-sqlite3 bacula-doc bacula-fd > bacula-sd bacula-sd-sqlite3 bacula-server bacula-traymonitor >mtx sqlite3 > >Cheers >Ing.
