The problem might be that FullBackup is a different volume than 
FullBackup3. The used capacity doesn't matter much - typically, using 
hardware compression, you will get great variances of tape capacity. 
Like, 1 GB of /dev/zero compresses to about nothing, while 1 GB of 
compressed video will not be noticeably compressed.

When the tape drive reports a tape as full you can usually rely on it 
being full.

I just recommend to mount the tape requested or another usable one, 
i.e. a tape with status Append, Purged, or Recycle.
