I've got a Dell 124T w/ an LTO3 drive (bought used for <$800 on Ebay last year), and so far I've had no trouble (Bacula 5.0.3 w/ Fedora 14). I may not be a very heavy user, however, as I'm running it on a home network (clients are: Fedora 14, WinXP & Win7-64)--sending ~1.5TB to tapes in a month (fulls, differentials and incrementals).
