Hello,

Yes, Python is still embedded in the Director, but with all the
changes in Python over the years, it is quite probable that it
does not work.

In any case, Python will be removed from the Director in the
next release, so it probably doesn't make any sense to use it.
If someone wishes to write a Python plugin for the Director,
it would be a way to get the same functionality or perhaps even
more.  It would also require a bit of work on the Director
plugin interface, which currently only works for the FD and
the SD.
