Hi,
I have just started encrypting my backup jobs. I have one full backup that
went from completing in
Scheduled time: 12-Aug-2017 20:05:00
Start time: 13-Aug-2017 06:16:47
End time: 13-Aug-2017 15:26:35
Elapsed time: 9 hours 9 mins 48 secs
to running in
Scheduled time: 16-Sep-2017 20:05:00
Start time: 17-Sep-2017 20:08:34
End time: 18-Sep-2017 18:45:36
Elapsed time: 22 hours 37 mins 2 secs
This job is backing up 2.3 TB of data.
These are running over the weekend so I have not checked on system
performance during this time. (other things to do ). But I am wondering if
these jobs will use more memory / cpu ? The system has 24 Gb of memory and
1 Xeon processor with 8 cpu's. The disk drives are on a raid 5 using an
ATTO 6G raid card.
What would cause this increase of duration?
