This is the way how automatic pruning works. To make it working in the way as you described and as you expected, you can disable automatic pruning: AutoPrune = no Then the file and job records will not be pruned automatically (and the database size can be bigger). They will be pruned in the volume recycling cycle or if you run prune job or file records manually by Bconsole command.
