Well, gee, the Quran also says kill the infidels wherever/whenever you

I don't see your point. Offhand it seems like you are making mine.

You constantly said that you didn't like generalizations and now you are
generalizing that "Baha'is" and "Muslims" have different concerns.
That's a big, and wrong, generalization.

I think that Bahais are going to feel differently about discrimination and violence against Bahais in a unique way which is different from non-Bahais. I think that Muslims are going to feel differently about discrimination and violence against Muslims in a unique way which is different from non-Muslims. From my perspective, Muslims around the world are still very much in a precarious state. There is a whole laundry list of places where Muslim minorities are struggling for autonomy, independence or basic rights and have been attacked by non-Muslims (Christians, Jews, Hindus, Communists and secular Westerners). That concerns me. I have not seen much (but I've seen some) evidence that it concerns  the Bahais in this forum. I'm not laying blame. I'm just observing.

I think it is understandable if Bahais are more concerned about the persecution of Bahais. And from that perspective, looking at the situation in Iran, it is easy to see Muslims as being in a dominant position and oppressing Bahais.

But from my perspective I'm going to be conscious of the ways in which Bahai attitudes towards Islam and world history might contribute to persecution of Muslims (God is punishing Muslims for persecuting the Bab or Bahaullah, Islam and the previous religions are on their way out anyway, destruction of the old social order is necessary anyway, the Bahai faith is more "progressed" than Islam, etc.)

True Muslims are concerned
about peace, human dignity, tolerance, tranquillity, etc., etc.; and
Baha'is have those same concerns.

Why did you describe it that way? Why did you say True Muslims and Bahais? Why not just say Muslims and Bahais? Or why not say True Muslims and True Bahais?

You were accusing Susan of
insensitivity. That's an ad hominem attack.

If anything I was accusing her of having different concerns from I do and she and other Bahais in here who have been arguing with me OBVIOUSLY have different concerns from me.

And Baha'is have no hatred towards Muslims or non-Baha'is. Got that?

: )

I don't know if you realize this but "got that?" comes off as angry and a little "threatening". Like I could imagine you pointing a finger at me or poking me in the chest. And so given the part which comes before, it sounds a little funny (and contradictory).

Peace

Gilberto
