The Baha'i Studies Listserv Unfortunately I don't have a source for this hadith, but I really liked it. I am also searching for a Baha'i quote similar to this passage, so if anyone feels up to it, please reply with that quote.
One day the Prophet (sas) and the sahabas (ra) were sitting around. The Prophet (sas) said "If you were all perfect Muslims and never sinned, Allah would replace you with someone else." They were shocked and asked why. He said "Because Allah loves to forgive."
