The Baha'i Studies Listserv I'm not sure if I'd agree. I'd say that some or most of the laws of Shari`ah belong to the dust bin of history but there are inspirational passages in the Quran that will be eternal. And in the Bible, etc. Unfortunately, most have ignored the inspirational passages and are stuck in the minutiae of law, insisting that their holy book is the last word of God, their religion the last religion, their law the last law, and their prophet the last prophet. What nonsense.
