I agree with Bri-Va, I have never heard of a landman that is not working for themselves, or as brokers for an oil company(ies). If someone is singing this song, best run in the opposite direction. I have heard of a recent scam, sent by letter, to some neighbors that have minerals near Butte, MT that required the Mineral Owners to EACH PAY $2500 to a company to lease their minerals. Scam, Scam, Scam. Report any suspicious activity to your attorney general's office with the State.... Rufus
