Ya got to be careful comingeling two formations.  If they did it was
probably an accident.  If the pressures on each zone are equal it
would be ok but if one zone is higher pressured than the other you
will lose production to the thief zone.

Most of the time the zones or formations are used as markers so you
know where you are.  I did hear of zone under the Bakken that is as
productive but it is not everywhere the Bakken is.
