Tadi itu cuma teoritis aja ..... soalnya saya nggak punya genset :-)
Secara teori, AC 3/4 PK menyedot daya sekitar 800 - 900 watt. Jadi diperkirakan
1300 VA (~1105 Watt dengan PF=0.85) udah kuat plus masih bisa menyalakan lampu.
Kalau 1000 VA emang secara teoritis setara dengan 850 watt (PF=0.85) ... jadi
"megap-megap" kalau disuruh nyalain AC :-)
Di rumah saya punya UPS (650 VA), tapi malah saya manfaatkan untuk menyalakan
lampu dan televisi kalau PLN sedang "rawat inap". Soalnya komputer jarang saya
maenkan ..... hehehe

Saya punya Genset Honda 1000 VA juga belum kuat untuk AC yang paling kecil.
Perkiraan saya sih kalau untuk AC 3/4 PK sebaiknya minimum yang 3 KVA
(diesel) atau 5 KVA. Tapi yang ada 'silent mode' karena nanti tetangga bisa
pada 'mencibir' karena cuma kebagian suaranya yang seperti truk gandeng ...

Sekedar mengingatkan, kalau nantinya genset harus mensuplai AC 3/4 PK,
minimal dayanya harus 1300 VA. Kalau yang 500 VA, nggak kuat ngangkat AC.
Kalau yang 900 VA, cuma kuat suplai AC ..... tapi lampu mati.
