Elizabeth,

Thank you for clarifying that - I really don't want to come off as some
know-it-all, because I'm really really not - and I hope I am consistent
in admitting that. I try to be. As far as the lunar landing, yes, I
looked at the videos including the documentary about it. In fact, my
sister almost had me convinced for a little while, but then I did the
research and came to my own conclusions. In any case - we can agree to
disagree. I am well aware that being for the space program is very very
un politically correct at this point - but what can I say? I think the
space program has contributed and will contribute more. Ending it will
not divert the funds to the poor, unfortunately, or I'd certainly be for
that!

In fact it was shut down before for years at a time - and the funds were
not diverted. That's one of the frustrating things about the tax system
- as Lara and I talked about. We don't really get a say as to where
they go - we are supposed to. Our reps are supposed to see to that, but
as we all know.... it doesn't happen that way. If it did I would
certainly NOT be paying for a lawyer for John Yoo! UGH!

Anyway...:-) Peace to you
Linda
