Seeing that you've done all the reading, could you clarify something ? 3 facts: 1. The OTFs have a table that says "for this ligature display this glyph". 2. Freetype 2 is supposed to have OTF support. 3. In an OTF (like James Kass') each glyph has an (internal) code point eg like 0x10230 Good, can I combine this as follows 1. Use the freetype library to get the internal code point for a ligature 2. Print it using the normal printText etc. routines in QT ?
