I would say anything goes, you are free to propose any session and people are free to decide if they want to listen or not. But... having said that I would add a few words of caution, Barcamp is generally about community and not about marketing or commercial interests. So if the talk was like an advert for the company, I personally would find it distasteful and would vote with my feat. Viral marketing is always slightly risky, if its too safe it lacks the spice that gets peoples interest, if its too risky it can back fire. So proceed with caution. If a company is doing a talk then probably best to make sure its interesting to the audience. As for handing out marketing material at the event, I think its only fair that such things are limited to sponsors supporting Barcamp in kind or through donations.
