NECTEC Scipark campus is other choice. It's quite big with plenty of meeting rooms with comprehensive peripherals. Definitely Wi-Fi coverage, space to hanging out. They had already held several nightcamps (CodeFest for 30-50 people/one room). If we know the right person inside NECTEC, we might got free meal and NECTEC staff to take care us (I once went to CodeFest, which is NECTEC event, it has everything prepared).
I can think 3 disadvantage: - Alcohol shouldn't be allowed since it's government building - If you're addicted to pub or whatever for music and party, there is none inside the border (but for knightcamp, we don't need it anyway, right?) - It's very far from central Bangkok. I saw many complaints for proposing KU (which actually is in central Bangkok) and I think I will see more complaints if we go for NECTEC. Anyway, I agree Ben's word that the range might be a screening tool for those who really want to go BarCamp. If you want to go, it's no matter where. If you are complaining type, you will complain for everywhere. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Barcamp Thailand" group.
