Hello guys, Just wonder if anybody have a spare Linksys WRT-54GL router with DD- WRT firmware that I can borrow for a week. I want to try to setup a repeater for Internet connection in my apartment and I don't know it's gonna work or not, and I just don't want to waste 2000 thb if it's not gonna work.
I have tried the Universal repeater from belkin and it just didn't work. I've read in many forums that this router works fine as a repeater, so I want to give it a shot. Also, my apartment's router that I'm going to repeat is a Linksys too, so I think I can success using a same Linksys model.Really, I just want to make sure before I commit such money. It would also be ideal if anybody that run the network shop allow me to rent it. I'm happy to swipe my credit card for deposit and then refund after I return the thing.
