There is village telco for using wifi technolgy to build up alternative networks http://www.villagetelco.org/ Specially Mesh Potatoes is interesting, which allows you to setup regional phone networks via ad hoc wifi mesh network. http://www.villagetelco.org/2010/09/mesh-potatoes-go-on-sale/ This is a nice page that tries to collect every day advice to deal with such a situation https://sites.google.com/site/oliveinenglish/ On 17 March 2011 11:24, Jiew <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Satoko, > Your point is really important point when I watch the news I also feel and > think what I can do and it seems too little. > Can I share your concern to other colleagues in other loop? > It may help them to think out some idea. > Best, > Chiranuch (Jiew) > [email protected] > - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - > http://www.twitter.com/jiew > > > Life' s too Short, to be T H I N. > > > 2011/3/17 satoko 31o5 Oh <[email protected]> >> >> Hello barcampers ++ >> >> Just a thought after the disaster... my mind is still not clear but just >> want to share with someone.
