Come on - please help me to rescue my christmas holidays! ;-)

One pool does recycling well, the other one doesn't. Where can I have a deeper look at what's going wrong?

Thanks and greets
Stephan

I did a deeper research and found out this:

1. Recycling for this pool worked - until dec 3rd. At this day
WeeklyFileVol0127 was recycled.

2. On other pools which are configured very similar, recycling works.

Maybe there's just a problem with WeeklyFileVol0128? How does Bareos
try to find out whether it can recycle a volume or create a new one?

Maybe one of my prune/purge/delete actions of expired volumes broke
something?

Thanks and greets
Stephan

I did this yesterday (via bconsole, for dir and sd), but up to
now there are now *trace files in /var/lib/bareos.

I meant, there are *no* *trace files... sorry for that.

Is it necessary to
reload/restart the daemons? What did I wrong?

You could let sd and dir write a trace file and check what it
exactly does.

You can use "setdebug" to achieve this. A debug level of 50
should be enough.

Please check the log, it should write some info what
happened when trying to use the next volume.
