Hi, thank you for both answers.

I see your point. In my opinion, it would make more sense either to save the 
file records to the catalog if those are anyway on storage or if the file 
records are not saved, release also the volumes.  If someone decides that the 
job is not required and delete it, the file records will also be deleted. If 
the decision is to keep the job, than it's better to have the records in 
catalog rather then scanning potentially tens of volumes..
