Dear list,

I've been using copies (similar to migrations) from disk to tape for a while. I
can restore from disk in daily business. But if the backup system would burn
down I could get the tapes from the bunker and restore from them. That's the
theory.

However I'd like to be able to test/verify whether the jobs on tape are
actually restorable. According to the documentation the tape copy would only be
used if I deleted the job from disk. But I wouldn't like to cripple my disk
data just to test the tapes.

Is there a way to tell Bareos I'd like to restore from tape? Or would I be
forced to use migrations instead of copies?

Thanks for your thoughts.

…Christoph
