Hi,
you could try to set
Pool = Tape1
in your JobDefs.
Then check if it overrides the storage from the Full Backup Pool definition
when you run a Full Job.
I've put Pool = Tape1 in jobdef and now it's wrong for full so storage
is not overridden.
Pool: Tape0 (From Job FullPool override)
Storage: Tape1 (From Pool resource)
If that doesn't help, you can explicitly specify the storage when running
a job, for example
run job=tape_job level=Differential storage=Tape1
Yes I could do that, but I want the whole thing automated. Manual backup
was just a test.
So I guess if in manual *run it picks the wrong storage, it will do
wrong on schedule as well.
From my point of view it seems like a bug in jobdef resource.
Since I override the default pool for different backup levels, it should
pick all pool's resources, storage included.
Otherwise I should be able to configure a jobdef without a default Pool
but I can't do that since it's required.
Thanks for the answer,
