For bugs like these, it would probably make more sense to have different
versions and binary releases for the library, utils, backup,
and opensync plugin.  Currently they are all in version lockstep.
I don't know if that would be yet more confusing or not, for people
in general.  It could both make my life harder and easier at the
same time.

This bug could be fixed by a library release only.

Version 0.11 has priority though, as a bugfix.  Release structure changes
come later.
