Hi.
I just compiled and installed barry on a FC7 box without much trouble. However btool doesn't recognize any devices connected. from /proc/bus/usb/devices I see: T: Bus=03 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=01 Cnt=01 Dev#= 7 Spd=12 MxCh= 0 D: Ver= 1.10 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=16 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=0fca ProdID=0006 Rev= 1.06 S: Manufacturer=Research In Motion S: Product=RIM Mass Storage Device S: SerialNumber=0E5F6E7C245CFF73A2CA068559FB0224217F914D C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=80 MxPwr=100mA I:* If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=08(stor.) All I get is [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ btool Blackberry devices found: No device selected When I plug the 8310 in I do get a system message: usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7 usb 3-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice scsi11 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices usb-storage: device found at 7 usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning usb-storage: device scan complete scsi 11:0:0:0: Direct-Access RIM BlackBerry SD 0001 PQ: 0 ANSI: 4 CCS sd 11:0:0:0: [sdd] Attached SCSI removable disk sd 11:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg6 type 0 usb 3-2: USB disconnect, address 7 usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 8 usb 3-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice scsi12 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices usb-storage: device found at 8 usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning Why is it showing up as a scsi drive or a mass storage device. Is that what I should see? Any help appreciated. Don ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
