Ok...indeed, the kernel module berry_charge was loaded so I blacklisted it but still btool doesn't seem to see the device. After finding the bcharge tool, I think it worked ok and got the following from bcharge: Scanning for Blackberry devices... Found device #002...adjusting charge setting...adjusting Pearl mode to dualDetecting possible kernel driver conflict, trying to resolve... usb_reset failed: could not reset: No such device ...done After that, btool found it fine. Question though...what's up with the scsi emulation? Is that just my configuration? Martin Owens wrote: You need to run bcharge first, this will put the device into 0004 mode instead of 0006 mode. FC7 might be screwing with the mode by running it's own bcharge code in a kernel module called berry_charge so make sure that's in your blacklist.when you run bcharge just make sure your phone is listed as 0001 or 0004 as 0006 is SD Card only access mode.
