heh, the future will certainly be very interesting and certainly nothing
like what we're dealing with right now. ;-)

You might sometimes be able to convince people to do things for free,
it's possible. But pride only goes so far, doing things for platforms we
don't have access to for instance makes it a little hard to fix things
on a whim.

Perhaps just consider it as a cultural element not thought about too
often :-)
