I turned on slow queries logs in mysql and re-ran a report "Top senders by
quantity". The only query I'm seeing is:

which I believe is the interface refreshing the top 50(?) on the first page.
The browser interface that has baruwa loaded just has the cursor spinning and
has been for at least 20 minutes now. I'll let it go longer but the way I
remember it, even if I let it go for a day it will still be running.
I'm not sure that mysql is the issue...
Also, I should mention that the interface seems rather slow moving between menu
options.
As it sits right now, I have 1160854 total messages.
Any ideas on how I can get this to work?

Yes you should be able to, a DB that large will require some mysql tuning to
get good performance. Are you getting any errors ?
