Changed to fprot for a test, and the lint test came back with "Virus scanner "{f-protd-6}" not found in virus.scanners.conf file. However my question (3) seems to be a bug, if it read it from the DB then it's presented to MailScanner in the wrong format! I think it has its own which overrides the default settings which is what you are looking at in the MailScanner.conf ... not sure what the name is, but it should read the settings from the database. > > 3) MailScanner --Lint give me the following (note the "clamd" word being in > between { } ): > > -------------------- > .... > .... > MailScanner.conf says "Virus Scanners = {clamd}" > Found these virus scanners installed: clamd > =========================================================================== > Filename Checks: Windows/DOS Executable (1 eicar.com <http://eicar.com>) > Other Checks: Found 1 problems > Virus and Content Scanning: Starting > Virus scanner "{clamd}" not found in virus.scanners.conf file.
