I have not setup 2 servers yet, still busy with other stuff at work. From my
understanding, each server should be setup as its own. You will need to have
postgres setup on both. The UI add each as scanning nodes. Each server will be
responsible for releasing the quarantine message in which it resides on. It
wouldn't be that hard to change the postgres queries over to mysql. This should
probably be put into a priorty request. I am not too familiar with postgres
and replication, but take a look at
http://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/Replication,_Clustering,_and_Connection_Pooling

Subject: [Baruwa] Baruwa 2.0 steps to two node setup?

I have my first Baruwa 2 system finally setup and I am about to setup a second.
I want to be able to use them as mx1 and mx2 for each of my domains, so in case
one of them is down, the other server can still accept email. Now I am fine
with just using a single postgres server as i know postgres doesnt have
master/master support like mysql. A few
questions:

1) Should I just do another full install (i used Jeremy's bash script for the
primary) and then reconfigure memcache, rabittmq, and remote db after its
finished?

2) If the postgres server is down because the primary server is down, will the
secondary server update the primary db once its back online?

3) How should I go about setting up RabbitMQ for this two node setup.

4) Any advice on doing the same with memcache?

5) LOL, can all of this be avoided by just adding other scan node or is that
just another server for processing email from the primary?

Thanks,
Mark
