It's not a hack. It's the answer to your questions. No it is not possible via 
the UI.

Yes, I know how to do it the "MS" way, but wanted to know if it was possible to 
do it the "Baruwa" way from the settings in the webinterface, so customers can 
have the settings as they want.

I see this as a hack and not a real solution to the problem.

But I appreciate the feedback, as I think this states that this is not 
supported in Baruwa.
