Are you still having these issues?

I want to assume its because you didn’t use an FQDN in your setup, you used a 
hostname.

I've just used Jeremy's latest install script for CentOS (6.4 x64)
All went fine except under Status, the Scanner Node Status is Red (FAULTY)
Under each Status heading I have "Error reading ..."
Spamassassin lint (using gui) reports:
"Backend did not return response, try again later"

Mail however flows as expected.
