Subject: [Baruwa] MailScanner SQL settings differ in .conf and in the web app

Hi,

I just installed Baruwa 2.0.1 via JMS's install script - everything went fine
and I'm accessing Baruwa's web interface. But there is something strange - I
started configuring MailScanner and noticed that for some of the settings, the
values that are in the MailScanner.conf file are different than what the web
app shows. I understand that Baruwa keeps the settings in the DB so I opened
psql and checked there. What is even more strange is that some of the settings
that show on the web app do not even show in the DB.

Here is an example. The 'Notify Senders' has value 'Yes' in the web app and
value 'no' in the .con file, and at the same time the statement "select * from
configurations where external = 'NotifySenders';" returns nothing.
I saved the settings in the web app several times but that did not insert the
value in the DB.

Now here is the strange thing - if I change the value to 'No' in the web app
and then save then it will be inserted into the DB.

That leads me to believe that Baruwa's web app saves values to the DB only if
they have been changed in the web app itself.

The problem is that if I don't change a value in the web app (because it is OK
for me) and this setting has different value in the .conf file then MailScanner
will use the one from the .conf file which is wrong.

Could anyone advise - am I doing something wrong here?

Thank you.
