I can reproduce the issue with OpenJDK 7. I guess the problem is that the 
eclipse plugin does not play well with non-Sun/Oracle JRE, and I'd be 
surprised if the problem is in BaseX... ;)

I did that step too. I also attached my eclipse settings as screenshot. I am 
using 
Eclipse Indigo on Ubuntu 11.10 with OpenJDK 7.0. I dono where i am going 
wrong.
